National Symposium of Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Resistance: Key opportunities and emerging therapies

7th-8th September, 2017

This satellite meeting will be focused on genomic strategies to combat and understand infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, drug discovery and emerging therapies and diagnostics.  Sessions will cover microbial pathogen genomes, infection and immunity, tuberculosis, drug discovery and novel therapeutics and vaccines, GAS and viral pathogenesis.

This meeting will be a great opportunity for those working in the field of microbiology and infectious diseases, pathogenomics, drug discovery and viral pathogenesis to present their research and facilitate collaborations. A limited number of postgraduate student travel grants will be awarded (more details to come).
