Synthetic Biology Satellite
4-5 September 2024
Rydges Hotel, Queenstown, New Zealand
Convenors: Dr Essie Van Zuylen & Dr Danielle Kok, University of Canterbury
Experience the forefront of synthetic biology research in Aotearoa, New Zealand! The Synthetic Biology Satellite Meeting, organised by SynBioNZ, the NZ node of Synthetic Biology Australasia (SBA), will take place over two consecutive days on September 4th and 5th, 2024.
Join us as we showcase the latest advancements in synthetic biology research in NZ, engage in discussions on GMO legislation and bolstering iGEM support in the Southern Hemisphere. Our goal is to foster an interdisciplinary community where diverse groups can exchange ideas and collectively problem-solve.
The organising committee invites oral and poster abstract submissions across all subject areas of synthetic biology, including healthcare, primary industries, environment, and biosecurity. We encourage participation from researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and anyone with a keen interest! Don't miss out on the poster session, social function, and shared session with the Biomolecular Interactions Satellite meeting.
